continuing the experiment

these are prints taken from very wet watercolour paintings which i have started to embellish...some i like..some i preferred without the additional work,,,,a sunday off from hospital duties and the snowy weather makes all things possible!!

First Week in pictures

At the start of the year I always wish that I could give more time to art and try to develop a style and generally try harder!!

So this is my attempt to make myself do just that

a piece of art a day

it may only be a sketch or a whole picture finished

we will see.

Watercolour sketch of larch cones picked up on a walk yesterday.

This is a pen and ink... one of a set of drawings that  illustrated a little story wrote a few years ago....the image i have in my mind for them never quite matches up to what i can draw!!

This is a print taken from a very wet watercolour painting....a ghost painting!! the print is much nicer that the original.

I love feathers and this is a painting from a few feathers that i pick up near a pheasant killed on the road, it was a fight to stop the lodger dragging it home for supper.

Just a doodle, pen and ink.
